i am really actually upset about this
I know for a fact that daddy long legs are totally 100% harmless and I still had a complete sobbing meltdown that one was in my room once
I had recurring nightmares about a spider eating me alive when I was a kid
a brown recluse bit my mom and she got really really sick and I was totally sure she was going to die
the mere idea of a spider is enough to make me tense up and my skin start itching...

If you want to get rid of your phobia, I suggest educating yourself about spiders. They’re truly fascinating creatures and being in an Ecology class and learning about them has lessend my fear quite a bit.
